Let the child wave or watch from beside a trusted adult. Offer a closer hello only if they seem ready.
Choose a clear photo spot and let the child take a turn before inviting other guests. Keep group pictures optional.
Share the requested theme, timing and party setup with our team. Confirm program details, costs and availability; a date request is not a reservation.
For a Trenton, Michigan gathering, start by choosing a calm spot where a child can watch the character arrive before deciding whether to join in. Keep the visit simple: a gentle hello, a short photo moment and one optional group activity. These are statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, not verified Trenton venues or local policies. If your plans are outdoors, prepare for a weather change in advance. Ask us about the requested character theme, then confirm program details, cost and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
