In Wentzville, give the organizer a few minutes to set the scene before the character arrives: explain where guests should gather and which adult will guide the birthday child. A gentle greeting can lead into one shared activity, with photos offered as a choice rather than a requirement. Missouri's supplied park information distinguishes enclosed spaces from open picnic shelters. These statewide checks do not verify a Wentzville venue or its rules. Confirm the exact space and permission for a hired character with the operator.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Missouri State Parks says enclosed shelters, venues and meeting rooms require advance reservations. Check the exact facility type and current booking conditions, since open picnic shelters can follow a different process. Confirm the gathering layout and permission for a hired character visit with the operator; this policy does not establish entertainer availability.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
