Let the child watch from beside a caregiver first. Offer a wave or photo only when they seem ready.
Invite everyone to try one easy gesture together, while making it clear that watching is welcome too.
Share the schedule, child's age, space arrangement and participation preferences with our team. Confirm theme-provider details, costs and availability.
A calm plan for Wilsey can give the birthday child time to get comfortable before the group gathers around. Start with a friendly hello, offer a photo with a trusted adult nearby, then invite guests to join a simple wave or song. Keep a quiet watching option open. Choose an adult organizer to track the schedule and weather, and share the party layout and child's preferences with our team. Character activities, costs and availability depend on the theme provider and need confirmation; a date request alone is not a booking.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
