Have the character greet the group without requiring the birthday child to step forward. The child can watch, wave, or approach later.
Plan a short greeting and one optional shared activity, with time for photos. Leave room for breaks or a change of pace.
Send the date, ZIP code, party setting, and character theme to our team. Ask us to confirm program details, costs, and availability before making plans.
A comfortable Attica celebration can give the birthday child a quiet first look before the character joins the group. Let them wave from a familiar adult's side, then offer a photo or simple activity if they are ready. Meanwhile, make the weather plan clear to every organizer and keep the visit schedule flexible. These are statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, not verified Attica venues or local policies. Ask us about a requested theme, and confirm program details, costs, and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
