In Aurora, West Virginia, plan a character visit around one calm centerpiece: a friendly hello, a short photo moment and an easy invitation for children to join in at their own pace. Give the birthday child a choice between greeting the character first or watching from beside a trusted adult. Keep the gathering space uncluttered so guests can see and hear without crowding. Statewide guidance can help with early planning, but it does not verify Aurora venues or local rules. Confirm the exact location, permissions, program details, cost and availability with the venue and our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
West Virginia DNR describes lodging options within its state parks and forests and links to the official park directory. Identify the exact state-managed property, then ask whether there is a reservable gathering space suitable for your proposed activity. Confirm access and hired entertainment rules; a lodging listing does not establish group-event eligibility or approval.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
