Let the child watch from beside a trusted adult, then offer a wave or another small choice without pressure.
Take a quick group photo after the greeting, then allow time for individual pictures only if children want them.
Share the schedule, guest count, space details, and photo expectations with our team. Confirm program details, costs, and availability.
In Carmona, begin with the child's preferred kind of hello: a wave from across the room, a high-five, or a brief introduction beside a familiar adult. Keep the visit flexible so a shy child can watch before joining. Ask us about a simple plan for a greeting, a few photos, and one easy group activity; confirm program details, costs, and availability with our team. Before choosing an outdoor setting, check the gathering rules and prepare a comfortable indoor alternative.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Texas Parks and Wildlife directs visitors to reserve group facilities by phone rather than assuming every booking can be completed online. Check the current process for the exact group facility and describe the gathering and hired entertainment to the park. A phone reservation route does not establish that the proposed party activity is eligible or available.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
