For a gathering in Clermont Harbor, Mississippi, a little weather planning can protect the relaxed pace of a character visit. Start with a low-key greeting, then let children choose between a group photo, a simple shared activity, or watching nearby. Ask us about the requested character and possible program details before organizing the schedule. Statewide planning guidance can help you prepare, but it does not verify local facilities, reservations or policies.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
