Let them choose among watching, waving or joining an activity. A caregiver can stay close, and no child needs to pose for a photo.
No. Check current parking procedures and ask the operator separately about space use and permission for hired entertainment.

For a Cornish, New Hampshire celebration, make the visit easy to follow without asking every child to perform. The character can wave, join a short group game, then pause for optional photos or quiet hellos. If you are considering state-managed recreation, treat parking access as one separate planning step, not as permission to hold an activity. These are statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, not verified Cornish venues or local policies. Confirm program details, costs and availability with the theme provider.

New Hampshire State Parks warns that visitors without reservations may be turned away when Monadnock State Park is full. If considering this state-managed property, check its current day-use parking process and access conditions. A parking reservation is not a group shelter booking or permission for hired entertainment, and this example does not describe every park in the state.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
