Yes. Make watching, waving or taking a photo from beside a caregiver acceptable ways to participate.
No. A requested date is not a booking or payment. Confirm the theme, visit plan, costs and availability with our team.
For a Drywood celebration, decide how children will move between the character greeting and the rest of the party. A short hello followed by optional photos gives younger guests time to warm up, while a simple group wave can include children who prefer not to approach. These are statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, not verified Drywood venues or local policies. Ask us about a theme and a visit outline, then confirm program details, costs and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
