Offer one simple group activity and a turn for photos. Tell guests where to gather, and keep watching as an acceptable choice.
No. Confirm the requested program, cost and availability with our team. A date request does not reserve or pay for a visit.
For a Duwamish gathering, make the visit easy to follow: welcome the character, give the birthday child a moment in the spotlight and offer guests a simple choice to join or watch. Keep the activity short enough to leave room for snacks and photos. Statewide guidance can inform planning, but it does not verify city venues or local policies. If you are considering a Washington State Parks space, check its booking route and event permissions directly. Ask us about a requested costume theme; confirm details, cost and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Washington State Parks identifies reservation types that require its call center. Check the actual facility type and booking channel before trying to secure a picnic shelter or group space online. Verify access, setup and permission for hired entertainment separately with the operator; a reservation route is not event approval.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
