Tell us your kid’s name and how to say it, what they love, and what makes them shy. Your notes go to the performer with the booking, so the hour is about your kid.

Yes. Watching beside a parent, waving, or joining later are all gentle ways to begin.
Choose a spot with room for the character and child, and invite guests to wait their turn without requiring every child to pose.
Not by itself. Ask the property operator about gathering space and entertainment rules, and ask us to confirm visit details.
In Four States, make the character visit fit the gathering space rather than planning around an unconfirmed venue. The birthday child might start with a wave, then choose a photo or a short conversation when ready. Invite guests to take part in one simple activity, with room for children to watch instead. Before contacting us, note your requested date, guest ages, venue type, and any setup limits. A date request is not a reservation, and program details, cost, and availability must be confirmed before the visit is planned.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
West Virginia DNR describes lodging options within its state parks and forests and links to the official park directory. Identify the exact state-managed property, then ask whether there is a reservable gathering space suitable for your proposed activity. Confirm access and hired entertainment rules; a lodging listing does not establish group-event eligibility or approval.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
