Yes, you can plan a gentle hello and give the child the choice to wave, watch or approach when ready. Confirm the program with our team.
Offer one optional group photo after the child has had a chance to meet the character. Make it easy for guests to opt out.

For a Gans birthday, give the child time to notice the character before inviting everyone to gather. A seated hello, wave or brief photo can make a comfortable first moment; guests can join a simple cheer afterward. If planning a group stay, be clear about which space is for the gathering. These are statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, not verified Gans venues or local policies. Ask us about the requested theme and possible program, then confirm details, costs and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Oklahoma's official tourism agency describes several lodging and gathering-space options in state parks. Check whether the exact reservation covers overnight accommodation, a meeting area or another facility before planning the group layout. Confirm current access conditions and permission for hired entertainment with the operator; the guide is not approval or a guarantee of a birthday venue.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
