Start with the child's preferred distance. A wave, watching nearby or taking a parent-supported photo can be enough; participation should stay optional.
Invite guests to take turns in a short greeting or photo moment. Keep a clear space around the birthday child and let the organizer guide the order.
No. A theme request, date or ZIP code is not a confirmed booking. Ask our team to confirm program details, costs and availability.
A relaxed character visit in Lindsay, Montana, can begin with a small welcome: the birthday child may wave, show a favorite toy or simply watch from a trusted adult's side. Keep the photo moment brief, then invite guests to join a simple activity if they wish. Before choosing an outdoor gathering place, confirm its operator and permissions. Ask us about theme, program ideas, costs and availability; details need confirmation, and a date request is not a booking.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks provides a state park map and links to reservations. Use the directory to identify the responsible operator and actual facilities before making a party plan. Ask about group-space reservations, access and hired entertainment for the specific property; the statewide directory does not show approval or availability for your event.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
