Yes. Plan a group picture as an option, with watching or waving as comfortable alternatives.
No. National Weather Service guidance recommends substantial buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger lightning protection.
Confirm the requested theme, timing, program details, costs and availability with our team.
For a Marticville celebration, make the special moment easy to understand: a calm hello, a chance to wave, then a photo if the birthday child wants one. Keep the activity short enough for guests to join without asking every child to perform. A parent or organizer can stay nearby as a familiar face. Before the day, explain the room or gathering layout and any timing limits to the character-visit team. Ask us about the theme you have in mind; program details, costs and availability need confirmation.

Pennsylvania DCNR publishes payment conditions for confirmed state park picnic pavilion reservations. Check the current confirmation and cancellation process before treating a requested date as secured. Confirm the exact pavilion, access and permission for hired entertainment with its operator; the pavilion payment and the entertainer's quote are separate arrangements.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
