No. A date request is not a reservation or payment. Confirm the program, cost and availability with our team.
At Methodist Camp, plan the character visit around a relaxed welcome rather than a packed schedule. Let the birthday child watch from beside a trusted adult before deciding whether to wave, talk or join a simple activity. Set aside a clear spot for photos and keep the visit area easy for guests to find. Before choosing an outdoor plan, confirm the gathering space and any entertainment permission directly with its operator. Ask us about the requested character theme, then confirm program details, costs and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Iowa DNR publishes a deadline for changing cabin, lodge and shelter reservations. Review the current change and cancellation conditions before coordinating the gathering date with an entertainer. Verify the exact shelter or lodge and the proposed activity with the operator; a reservation change policy is not permission for hired entertainment.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
