Yes. Start with a greeting to the group and let the birthday child watch until ready, if at all.
Provide the party date, location, children's ages and the visit length you prefer. Confirm program details, cost and availability with our team.
Take the birthday child's photo first, then invite small groups to join if the schedule allows.
A simple plan can help the birthday child feel at ease during a Morrill character visit. Give the child time to see the character before inviting a greeting, and treat a wave from nearby as a complete participation choice. Arrange family photos in a familiar spot, then ask guests if they would like to join. Before you ask us about a character theme, share your date, location, age range and preferred visit length. Program details, cost and availability must be confirmed.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
