Name one adult before the party and make sure they know the route to the indoor backup. Follow current conditions and venue directions.
Offer a wave, a photo or watching from nearby as equal choices. Keep the birthday child's comfort at the center.
No. A date request is not a reservation or payment. Ask us to confirm availability, program details and cost.
For a Myrick gathering, make the weather plan clear before adding an outdoor character visit to the schedule. Pick an adult to watch conditions and guide guests if plans need to move. The character moment can stay calm indoors too: offer the birthday child a wave or photo, then invite other children to join only if they choose. Tell our team the planned location, timing and comfort preferences. Ask us to confirm program details, cost and availability; a date request is not a reservation.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
