No. Ask the exact venue operator about reservations and hired entertainment before planning around it.
For a Picatinny Arsenal gathering, keep the character visit focused on a few comfortable choices: a greeting the child can accept at their own pace, photos with willing guests, and one short group activity. If you are exploring a park setting, verify the exact property's manager and rules; information from another New Jersey city cannot establish what is available here. Share your event setup with us and ask our team to confirm program details, costs and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
As a city-scoped example within New Jersey, Edison municipal parks provide the published park amenities directory. Edison publishes a park amenities directory with pavilion, picnic grove and playground fields. Use the directory to check facilities for your group, then ask the responsible venue about reservations and paid entertainment; an amenity listing does not reserve it. This example applies only to Edison's listed municipal facilities; other cities and state-managed parks have separate operators and rules. Confirm the exact venue's reservation process and permission for hired entertainment.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
