In Potter Brook, Pennsylvania, the best party flow may be a short welcome followed by flexible time for greetings and photos. Give children a chance to watch the character before inviting them to wave or join in, and keep a familiar adult close by. If you request a state park pavilion, distinguish a date request from a confirmed reservation and verify the site's permission for entertainment. Prepare an indoor option for outdoor plans. Ask the theme provider to confirm the program details, cost and availability before building the schedule.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Pennsylvania DCNR publishes payment conditions for confirmed state park picnic pavilion reservations. Check the current confirmation and cancellation process before treating a requested date as secured. Confirm the exact pavilion, access and permission for hired entertainment with its operator; the pavilion payment and the entertainer's quote are separate arrangements.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup.
