About Blue Cat Hero
Some children light up when a hero arrives and invites them into a mission. This blue cat-themed hero centres on teamwork, quick thinking and looking out for friends, so a birthday visit can lean into that spirit rather than only standing for photos. A useful first question is which part of the story your child enjoys most: the feeling of a secret night mission, the crew working together, or the chance to be a hero for a day. The performer is an adult in a costume representing this theme. The team can talk through optional ideas that suit your child, but nothing here is a fixed package, and details of costume, props and songs are best confirmed directly with the team.

Questions parents ask
Still wondering? Call (866) 306-1384 and talk to a person.
Is this character a good fit for a child who loves superheroes?
It can be, especially if your child enjoys teamwork and night-time adventures more than flying or strength. The theme focuses on friends solving problems together, so a visit can be built around missions, clues and cheers. Ask the team which parts of the story they can adapt to your child's interests.
How should I prepare the birthday child for the visit?
A short story about the mission can help a child feel ready. You might mention that the hero will meet the group, share a mission and ask everyone to help. Some children enjoy practising a hero pose at home. Keep the description simple and positive so the arrival feels exciting.
Can the visit include activities for both younger and older children?
Yes, that is worth discussing. Ask how the team would split the group into gentler and more active roles, and whether the mission can have jobs for different ages. A mixed group often works well when each child has a small, clear part to play.
What details should I share before asking for a quote?
Share the date and time, the number of guests and their approximate ages, the space you plan to use and any particular interests the birthday child has. Mention any children who may be nervous with costumed characters. The more detail you provide, the easier it is for the team to suggest a fitting plan.
Should I plan extra activities alongside the character visit?
You may want simple games or snacks around the visit. Think about the time you have, the energy of the group and where guests will sit. Ask the team how much of the one-hour visit is best spent on the character itself, so the rest of the party flows smoothly.

Choosing the hero theme
The theme draws on teamwork and night-time adventure, so the most natural birthday ideas are about friends solving a small problem together. Rather than generic superhero confidence, the focus can be on helping others, spotting clues and working as a crew. Discuss these ideas with the team: a mission briefing where the birthday child is named as team leader, a simple clue hunt, or a group pledge that every friend has a job. Ask which activities suit your child, since some children prefer quiet role play and others want active missions.
Planning the greeting and group rhythm
The opening moment matters for shy and excited children alike. A calm entrance, a warm hello and an invitation to join the mission can help the birthday child feel included without being put on the spot. Ask whether the team can begin with a gentle introduction for younger guests and then move into a bigger group game. Ask how the visit can alternate between sitting moments, such as listening to a short story, and standing moments, such as a hero stretch or a team cheer. Mentioning any children who may be nervous with costumed characters lets the team plan a softer approach.
Tailoring the mission for the birthday child
A birthday visit feels most personal when the birthday child has a role. Optional ideas to discuss include giving the child a mission badge to wear, letting them choose which friend joins the next challenge, or inviting them to lead a hero cheer. Share a few details beforehand, such as favourite colours, a nickname for friends, or a game your child already loves, so the team can adapt the mission. Keep the plan flexible so it can follow the children's energy on the day.
Preparing the visit with the team
Before you ask for a quote, share the number of guests, their approximate ages and the space available. Ask the team which parts of the visit are most active, which are calmer, and how the performer works with a group that includes toddlers and older children. Discuss how the greeting and any photo moments will fit within the one-hour visit, and ask what the team will need from you on the day.
