Not automatically. Coordinate each arrangement separately, and confirm cost, date availability and visit details with our team.
In Adair, Iowa, consider placing the character visit before cake, while the group is together and the birthday child has room to choose how to greet. Offer a wave, a brief hello or a photo, then invite guests to take turns if they wish. A nearby quiet spot can give a hesitant child a pause. These are planning ideas, not guaranteed program features. Ask us to confirm the requested theme, format, cost and availability, and check gathering arrangements with the facility operator.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Iowa DNR publishes a deadline for changing cabin, lodge and shelter reservations. Review the current change and cancellation conditions before coordinating the gathering date with an entertainer. Verify the exact shelter or lodge and the proposed activity with the operator; a reservation change policy is not permission for hired entertainment.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
