Before you choose a character, consider asking the venue whether outside entertainers are permitted, which room is available for your date, how long the space can be booked, and whether there are rules about decorations, food, or equipment. Ask about parking and load-in times too, since a costumed performer will need a clear route in.
Think about the character your child loves and what kind of visit you want, such as a meet-and-greet, a story time, or a few games. Any activity ideas are options to discuss with the entertainer, not included services. Tell the entertainer your guest count and space details so the visit can be shaped to fit the room.
