Ask about a short wave, hello or story as a starting point. Children can watch first and join only if they feel ready.
Confirm the specific rental space, access conditions and permission for hired entertainment. State examples do not establish Aylmer facility policies.
Before setting the party plan, ask us to confirm the requested theme, program details, cost and availability.
For an Aylmer gathering, make the character's arrival easy to follow: choose one visible greeting point and let children decide whether to come closer. A brief hello, a group wave and optional photos can suit a wide range of comfort levels. Ask us about a manageable visit plan for your requested costume theme, then confirm program details, cost and availability. These are statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, not verified Aylmer venues or local policies. Confirm the chosen space and permission for hired entertainment with its operator.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
North Dakota Parks and Recreation lists two rentable picnic shelters at Grahams Island State Park alongside a separate activity center. Use this as one state-managed facility example, not a venue recommendation: confirm which space, facilities and access conditions apply to your plan. Ask the operator about hired entertainment before arranging the visit.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
