In Bartlett, Kansas, a simple visit plan can leave room for children to warm up before the character arrives. Start with a friendly greeting and let each guest choose whether to wave, join a group photo or watch first. For an outdoor gathering, decide who will monitor weather and how everyone would move to a backup space. These are statewide planning checks, not verified Bartlett venue rules. Confirm the chosen location and visit arrangements with the relevant operators and our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
