Offer a group wave, then invite a few guests at a time for photos. Keep the birthday child's choice first and allow anyone to watch instead.
Confirm the exact group facility, reservation terms and whether the operator permits the proposed hired entertainment. Do not assume all park bookings cover parties.
Confirm the requested theme, activities, cost and availability with our team. Program ideas are planning options, not guaranteed inclusions.
In Bonanza, Oregon, a character visit can fit neatly into a party plan when the gathering space is settled first. Invite the birthday child to choose between a wave, a short conversation or a photo, and let other guests join in by turns. Keep an alternate indoor plan ready if you are outdoors. These are statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, not verified Bonanza venues or local policies. Ask our team to confirm program details, cost and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Oregon State Parks accepts reservations at parks with reservable group day-use facilities as well as many campgrounds. Check the specific facility and booking conditions rather than treating all parks or campsite reservations as group-event bookings. Ask the operator about hired entertainment and any additional permission before setting the party plan.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
