Choose a clear meeting spot and tell guests where to wait. Keep the greeting area calm and easy to reach.
Yes. Make watching, waving or joining optional so each child can participate comfortably.
Not by itself. Ask the operator about permission and confirm visit details with our team.
In Bow, build the celebration around a few clear moments: a relaxed hello, a photo opportunity and one activity guests can join at their own pace. Before choosing an outdoor setting, identify the exact facility and check its booking process. Give the organizer a simple run sheet, including where the character should arrive and where children can wait. Ask us about a visit by sharing your date, ZIP code and setting. Confirm program details, costs and availability with our team; a request is not a reservation.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Washington State Parks identifies reservation types that require its call center. Check the actual facility type and booking channel before trying to secure a picnic shelter or group space online. Verify access, setup and permission for hired entertainment separately with the operator; a reservation route is not event approval.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
