For a Buffalo City, Wisconsin character visit, make the first moment predictable: choose a greeting place, let the birthday child decide how close to stand, and invite guests to join only when ready. A group photo can be an option rather than the whole program. The supplied Wisconsin shelter information concerns a state-managed example, not a verified Buffalo City venue. Check any location directly and confirm character-visit details with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Wisconsin DNR describes the reservable picnic shelter at its MacKenzie Center and its booking route through the State Parks reservation system. Treat this as one state-managed facility example: check the actual shelter, nearby facilities and conditions with the operator. Confirm permission for a hired character visit; the listing does not establish rules for every Wisconsin park.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
