In Campton, Kentucky, a character visit can give the birthday child a calm moment in the spotlight without taking over the party. Plan a brief welcome, then let children choose whether to wave, join a simple group activity or watch beside a trusted adult. Set aside a clear photo spot and tell guests when it is their turn. Ask us about the character theme and visit format; confirm program details, costs and availability with our team. These statewide planning checks are not verified Campton venues or local policies.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
