No. A request is not a reservation or payment. Confirm program details, costs, and availability with our team.
In Castalia, Iowa, a character visit can feel calm and personal when the child has time to watch before joining in. Start with a friendly greeting, then offer a wave, high-five, or place beside the character for a photo. Keep the visit's activity plan simple, with one short group moment and space for quieter guests. Before choosing an outdoor setting, settle the date and backup plan; these are statewide planning checks, not verified Castalia venues or local facility policies. Ask us about the character theme, then confirm program details, costs, and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Iowa DNR publishes a deadline for changing cabin, lodge and shelter reservations. Review the current change and cancellation conditions before coordinating the gathering date with an entertainer. Verify the exact shelter or lodge and the proposed activity with the operator; a reservation change policy is not permission for hired entertainment.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
