Offer watching or waving as equal choices to approaching the character. Let the child decide in the moment.
Invite guests to join one question or a group photo, with no pressure to participate. An adult can help manage turns.
Ask our team about the requested theme, program details, cost, and availability. Also confirm the gathering location and party timing.
A character visit in Chatham, Mississippi, can fit neatly into a birthday party without asking every child to take part in the same way. Let the birthday child choose a greeting style, then offer guests the option to watch, ask a question, or join a photo. An organizer can keep the group settled by explaining the plan in advance. Contact us with your date and requested theme; our team must confirm program details, costs, and availability. An inquiry is not a reservation.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
