No. A request is not a reservation or payment. Confirm the program, costs and availability with the team.
In Cherry Brook, Connecticut, thoughtful pacing can make a character visit easier for the birthday child and the group. Begin with a friendly introduction and let the child choose between a wave, a conversation or a photo. Guests can join one at a time, while others watch from a comfortable distance. Before the party, tell the character team where the visit will happen and what helps the child feel at ease. If considering a picnic shelter, verify its specific listing and rules. Ask us about program ideas, costs and availability, and confirm all details.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Connecticut State Parks and Forests provides an online booking route for the picnic shelters listed on its rental page. Use the specific listing to check capacity, season, facilities and reservation conditions. Ask the operator whether your proposed hired entertainer and equipment are permitted; a picnic shelter booking does not automatically approve those activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
