For a Clementsville, North Dakota party, identify the exact gathering space before planning where the character will greet children. A site with separate indoor and outdoor areas may have different access conditions, so check what the operator allows rather than assuming. Keep the visit simple: a warm hello, a child-led photo and one optional group activity. Tell guests where to gather and give shy children room to watch first. Any state-site information below is an example, not a confirmed Clementsville venue. Ask us to confirm program details, costs and availability; a date request is not a booking.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
North Dakota Parks and Recreation lists two rentable picnic shelters at Grahams Island State Park alongside a separate activity center. Use this as one state-managed facility example, not a venue recommendation: confirm which space, facilities and access conditions apply to your plan. Ask the operator about hired entertainment before arranging the visit.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
