In Comunidad Playita Ferry, keep the character visit easy to navigate by choosing one spot where children can gather without blocking the party's main path. An adult can welcome the guest and explain that children may greet, wave or watch. Save the photo moment for after everyone has had a chance to get comfortable. Ask us about the character theme, then confirm the program, cost and availability with our team. Beforehand, share the visit window and identify who will help guide the group if plans shift.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
