No. It is an example of listed facilities, not confirmation for your plans. Ask the operator about the space and ask us about visit cost and availability.
For a Delamere celebration, a calm greeting can help the birthday child settle in before the group joins. Offer a wave or hello first; let the child choose whether to stand beside the character for a photo. A short shared prompt can include guests without putting anyone on the spot. If you are considering a state-managed gathering space, distinguish a shelter from an activity center and ask the operator what fits your plan.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
North Dakota Parks and Recreation lists two rentable picnic shelters at Grahams Island State Park alongside a separate activity center. Use this as one state-managed facility example, not a venue recommendation: confirm which space, facilities and access conditions apply to your plan. Ask the operator about hired entertainment before arranging the visit.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
