Have the character greet the birthday child first with a wave and a little space. Offer a photo only if the child wants one.
Invite children to sing along or watch from their seats. Avoid making individual greetings or photos compulsory.
Check the chosen facility's conditions and entertainment rules with its operator. Confirm program details, cost and availability with our team.
For an El Valle gathering, make the birthday child's greeting the anchor rather than building a packed schedule. The character can begin with a friendly wave, then pause for a parent-supported photo or a short birthday song. Guests who prefer to watch can stay nearby and join when ready. Keep the visit area easy to find and leave room for a change of plan. Before settling on an outdoor location, check the exact facility's current information and confirm that a hired entertainer is allowed. Ask our team about program details, cost and availability.

New Mexico State Parks directs visitors to specific park pages for group shelter reservations. Review the chosen facility's current conditions, operating information and alerts rather than applying one set of amenities to every park. Ask the operator about your gathering and hired entertainment before committing to the location.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
