No. Offer the opportunity, while letting children choose to pose, wave, or watch from nearby.
Check that site's occupancy, access, sanitation, and water arrangements. Confirm separately whether a gathering and hired entertainment are permitted.
No. Ask us to confirm the requested theme, program details, costs, and availability.
For a Fair Haven celebration, make the character visit one small, memorable-feeling part of the gathering rather than the whole schedule. A calm greeting can lead into an optional group activity, with space for photos and for children who would rather watch. Vermont's supplied information concerns remote state camping sites, not birthday venues or Fair Haven facilities. If your plan involves such a site, check its practical limits; otherwise, verify the chosen location directly. Confirm the requested theme, program, costs, and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Vermont's Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation publishes site-specific occupancy information for its remote camping sites. If a plan involves one of these state-managed remote sites, check capacity, access, sanitation and drinking-water arrangements before proceeding. This camping guidance is not a birthday venue recommendation or permission for hired entertainment, and it does not describe every Vermont park.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
