In Fallston, Maryland, plan a character visit around one clear highlight rather than a packed schedule. The character can begin with a wave from a comfortable distance, then invite the birthday child to choose a greeting, pose for a photo, or simply watch. Give guests a low-pressure way to join, such as a group wave or taking turns for pictures. Before asking us about a requested theme, confirm the date, visit details, cost and program with our team. Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
As a city-scoped example within Maryland, Baltimore city recreation centers provide room rental information. Baltimore directs families to their recreation center for room rental information. Check the actual room capacity, permitted entertainment and setup time rather than assuming any recreation center can host the same program. This example applies only to Baltimore's listed municipal facilities; other cities and state-managed parks have separate operators and rules. Confirm the exact venue's reservation process and permission for hired entertainment.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
