No. It is only an inquiry. Confirm the theme, program details, cost and availability with our team.
For a Farmingdale celebration, first decide whether the gathering needs a picnic area or a more controlled indoor setting. A character visit can stay simple: a friendly greeting, a photo with the birthday child if they want one, and an optional group wave or story. If you are considering a state park, check the precise location and its operator rather than assuming a listing means the space is available. A date and ZIP code sent to us are only an inquiry. Confirm the requested theme, program, costs and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Illinois DNR provides a directory of state park picnic locations. Use it to identify the exact state-managed property, then check its shelter booking process, facilities and access with the operator. A picnic listing is not a reservation or approval for hired entertainment, and it does not establish rules for municipal parks.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
