No. Check with the actual park about gathering space and hired entertainment separately from lodging arrangements.
Offer a greeting from a parent's side, then let the child choose whether to approach or join an activity.
Ask us to confirm the requested theme, program details, cost and availability. Also share the party timing and any child preferences.
For a Fisty celebration that includes an overnight stay, keep lodging plans distinct from the character visit and any gathering approval. A simple visit can start with the character greeting the birthday child by name, followed by a choice to wave, chat or watch from a parent's side. Leave time for one photo opportunity and an activity guests can join at their own comfort level. Ask us to confirm the requested theme program, cost and availability. The advice here is statewide planning guidance, not verified information about Fisty facilities or event policies.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
