No. The venue and character visit are separate arrangements. Ask us to confirm program details, cost, and availability.
In Forestville, Connecticut, keep the visit simple enough that young guests can dip in and out. Give the child a low-pressure first greeting, pause for a photo with a trusted adult, then offer the group a short shared moment such as a wave or birthday song. Statewide shelter information can guide questions, but it does not verify a Forestville location or its rules. Check the specific listing and operator before planning around it. Ask us separately about the requested character program, costs, and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Connecticut State Parks and Forests provides an online booking route for the picnic shelters listed on its rental page. Use the specific listing to check capacity, season, facilities and reservation conditions. Ask the operator whether your proposed hired entertainer and equipment are permitted; a picnic shelter booking does not automatically approve those activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
