At Fort Cobb, avoid assuming that a lodging reservation also provides a gathering area. Once the actual party space is confirmed, plan a warm character greeting followed by an optional photo and one brief group activity. Children can take part or watch. These are statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, not verified Fort Cobb venues or local policies. Confirm the operator's access conditions and permission for hired entertainment. Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Oklahoma's official tourism agency describes several lodging and gathering-space options in state parks. Check whether the exact reservation covers overnight accommodation, a meeting area or another facility before planning the group layout. Confirm current access conditions and permission for hired entertainment with the operator; the guide is not approval or a guarantee of a birthday venue.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup.
