For a Harvey, Michigan gathering, make the weather plan part of the schedule before deciding where the character will greet guests. Choose an adult to watch conditions and guide a move indoors if needed. At the visit itself, let the birthday child watch first, then choose a greeting or photo; other guests can participate by choice. The available advice is statewide planning guidance, not verified city venues or policies. Ask us or our team about theme, program details, costs and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
