Offer a wave or a hello from beside a familiar adult. Let the child decide whether to move closer.
Choose one easy-to-reach photo spot and ask a helper to gather guests. Keep a quieter option for children who prefer to watch.
Ask us about the requested theme, then confirm program details, costs, and availability with our team. Check venue permission separately.
In Hellier, plan the character visit around a calm welcome rather than a packed schedule. Let the birthday child choose whether to wave, talk, or watch from beside a trusted adult. A short greeting, a group photo, and one simple activity can give the visit a clear shape while leaving room for children to join at their own pace. Before choosing a setting, remember that the available guidance is statewide; city venues and their policies have not been verified. Ask us about the character you have in mind, and confirm program details, costs, and availability with our team.

Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
