No. It applies to the listed Baltimore municipal facilities. Ask the operator of your specific Ijamsville-area venue about its own requirements.
Offer the birthday child a choice to pose, wave from a trusted adult's side or skip the photo. Guests can make their own choice too.
Ask us to confirm the program, costs and availability, and share the location and any setup restrictions.
For an Ijamsville, Maryland party, plan the character's arrival around the child, not the room schedule: a familiar adult can greet the character first, then invite the child to approach or watch. A short photo pause followed by a simple group activity gives guests more than one way to join. Tell our team about the chosen setting, setup limits and the child's comfort cues. Venue details matter, so verify them with the operator rather than assuming another city's arrangements apply.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
As a city-scoped example within Maryland, Baltimore city recreation centers provide room rental information. Baltimore directs families to their recreation center for room rental information. Check the actual room capacity, permitted entertainment and setup time rather than assuming any recreation center can host the same program. This example applies only to Baltimore's listed municipal facilities; other cities and state-managed parks have separate operators and rules. Confirm the exact venue's reservation process and permission for hired entertainment.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
