Offer a wave from a little distance, then let the child choose whether to approach or take a photo.
Set aside a clear greeting spot and tell guests when the character moment will happen. Keep a familiar adult close by.
No. Ask us about the requested theme, date, program details, cost and availability; a request is not a reservation or payment.
In Ingle, keep the visit simple enough for a child to warm up at their own pace. Ask us about the character theme, then plan a gentle entrance, a short hello and a photo moment before inviting guests to join a wave, song or easy group activity. A child who prefers to watch can stay beside a trusted adult. Before choosing a setting, check its rules directly: the guidance available here is statewide, not confirmation of Ingle venues or policies. Confirm program details, cost and availability with our team.

Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
