Pick a spot before the visit and invite children forward in small turns. Keep a familiar adult nearby for reassurance.
No. A date or ZIP request is not a reservation or payment. Ask us to confirm availability, costs, and the specific program.
For a gathering in Lamoille, a quiet welcome can help children decide how they want to meet the character. Start with a wave or a short group hello, then leave room for photos and optional participation. Ask us about the requested character theme and possible program; details, costs, and availability need confirmation. The supplied Minnesota information is statewide planning guidance, not verification of Lamoille venues or local policies. Before guests arrive, identify a weather decision maker and tell everyone where to go if plans move indoors.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
