In Marthasville, decide where guests will gather before planning the character's entrance. A clear spot helps children see the greeting without crowding, and the birthday child can choose whether to wave, speak, or join a photo. Keep any group participation brief and optional. For Missouri state-park plans, check whether the space is enclosed or open and review the current reservation process. These are statewide planning checks and parent suggestions, not verified Marthasville venues or policies. Ask us about a requested character theme; confirm program details, costs, and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Missouri State Parks says enclosed shelters, venues and meeting rooms require advance reservations. Check the exact facility type and current booking conditions, since open picnic shelters can follow a different process. Confirm the gathering layout and permission for a hired character visit with the operator; this policy does not establish entertainer availability.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
