Take a few early, while children are gathered and before the party schedule moves on.
A little breathing room can help a Morrice party feel welcoming for children with different comfort levels. Start with the character greeting the group, then let each child choose whether to wave, watch or come closer. For photos, invite the birthday child to pose with a parent first; guests can join afterward if they wish. Tell us the character theme, party setting, date and age range when you ask about a visit. Program details, cost and availability must be confirmed.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
