Let children choose to wave, talk or watch first. Ask the character to greet the group before inviting individual interactions.
Choose a clear, well-lit spot and ask guests whether they want to join. Keep the camera ready so the moment stays brief.
Share your preferred date, location, guest count and any access needs. Ask our team to confirm theme, program details, cost and availability.
In New Galilee, keep the character visit simple enough that children can warm up at their own pace. Plan a short welcome, a chance to wave or share a favorite character-themed detail, then offer a group photo for anyone who wants to join. Shy guests can watch beside a familiar adult instead of being called forward. Before asking us about a date, decide on the room or outdoor space, guest count and a flexible time window. Theme, program details, cost and availability need confirmation with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Pennsylvania DCNR publishes payment conditions for confirmed state park picnic pavilion reservations. Check the current confirmation and cancellation process before treating a requested date as secured. Confirm the exact pavilion, access and permission for hired entertainment with its operator; the pavilion payment and the entertainer's quote are separate arrangements.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
