No. Confirm rules with the actual venue operator, and ask our team separately about the character visit.
In Newburg, Maryland, start with the child's comfort, not a photo line. A character can offer a wave or birthday greeting, pause while the child watches, then invite guests to join a short story or simple activity. Keep the special moment brief and leave space for children who want to observe. Venue rules depend on the exact operator, so do not assume that a facility example elsewhere in Maryland applies here. Tell our team about the location, guest plan and child's preferences; confirm program details, cost and availability with us.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
As a city-scoped example within Maryland, Baltimore city recreation centers provide room rental information. Baltimore directs families to their recreation center for room rental information. Check the actual room capacity, permitted entertainment and setup time rather than assuming any recreation center can host the same program. This example applies only to Baltimore's listed municipal facilities; other cities and state-managed parks have separate operators and rules. Confirm the exact venue's reservation process and permission for hired entertainment.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
